KMC / KMS and cielo24

Thank you for completing the Media Data Requirements Form. Kaltura integration instructions are as follows.

KMC:

Within 2 business days we will process your account and email with the following:

• cielo24 username and password
• Request for setting permissions within KMC

1) Set Permissions and Roles

1. Log into KMC with Admin Credentials
2. Click Administration > Click Roles > Select “Add Role”
3. Name role “cielo24”
4. Enable the follow Permissions:
   • Content Management > Modify Entries Category
   • Content Management > Modify Metadata
   • Content Management > Edit Categories
   • Content Management > Edit Entry Captions
   • Content Management > Edit Related Files
5. Click “Save”
6. Click Users > Select “Add User”
7. Create new user, using [email protected]
8. Assign to the “cielo24 Role”

2) Requesting Captions

1. Log into KMC account
2. Select the media title to be captioned
3. Under “Metadata” tab > Select “Tags” field
4. Enter appropriate Start Tag
   • Caption7day (7 day TAT)
   • caption48 (48 hr TAT)
   • caption24 (24 hr TAT, media must be < 3 hours)
   • caption3 (3 hr TAT, media must be < 10 minutes)
5. Click “Save”
6. Email the [email protected] for confirmation that your request was received.
   For fastest confirmation please include the following information in your email-
   1) Number of files requested
   2) Your Kaltura Partner ID (PID)
   3) Your KMC account name
   4) Your cielo24 account name
7. cielo24 will respond once request is received

KMS:

Within 2 business days we will process your account and email with the following:

1. Account specific cielo24 email
2. cielo24 username and password
3. Request to set permissions and configure plug-in

1) Set Permissions

1. Add the account specific email address you received as a user on your account and enable two types of permissions
   • Content Management > Modify Entries Category
   • Content Management > Modify Metadata
   • Content Management > Edit Categories
   • Content Management > Edit Entry Captions
   • Content Management > Edit Related Files

2) Plug-in Configuration

1. Log into Kaltura Media Space Admin Console
2. Click “Management Configuration Tab”
3. Scroll down to “Modules” > Click “cielo24”
4. Select “Yes” to enable module
5. Enter cielo24 provided username and password
6. Enter “https://api.cielo24.com” in server box
7. Choose caption defaults and account permissions
8. Enter your cielo24 username and password

3) Requesting Captioning

1. Log into your Kaltura Media Space Account
2. Under video, click “Action” tab
3. Select desired options (e.g. Language, Accuracy, TAT)
4. Click “Order Captions”
5. Email [email protected] for confirmation that your request was received
   For fastest confirmation please include the following information in your email-
   1) Number of files requested
   2) Your Kaltura Partner ID (PID)
   3) Your KMC account name
   4) Your cielo24 account name
6. cielo24 will email you when captions are ready
