Bad HIT Definition
When a job is requested it is segmented into multiple “transcription tasks” (or HITS). We utilize job quality analytics at a task level to determine Challenging Audio* within a job and if tasks within a job exceed the threshold it will be assessed at the incremental fee.
Challenging jobs can be any of following:
- Poor audio quality
- Several speakers talking over another (Crosstalk)
- Audio clarity (silent or low volume audio)
- Accented speakers
- Heavy background noise
- Difficult or uncommon technical terms
- Difficult or uncommon names
