New Apple TV Feature Lets You Rewind and Use Closed Captions

The new Apple TV feature lets you rewind and use closed captions for anything you can’t hear!

We know that 80% of closed caption use is about comprehension and not accessibility.  Here is a great example of that and a big win for everyone.

Apple TV fixes one of the most annoying things about watching TV.    Have you ever watched a show and said, “Wait, what did they say?”  The new Apple TV feature lets you rewind and use closed captions on anything you don’t understand, in the moment.

The new redesigned and much improved Apple TV ensures you’ll never miss a line in that TV show or movie you’re watching.

And it will be easy to use.

If you’re watching something on your Apple TV and you missed or didn’t hear it, you can say “what did she just say” into the microphone on the remote. Siri will then replay the last 15 seconds of whatever you’re watching, and temporarily turn on closed captions for that clip, making sure you comprehend the same clip the second time around.
